Community Involvement
December 2012
Good Chevrolet donated and participated in the 7th annual Homeless Crusade for homeless children and teenagers in the Seattle area. The goal was 100 sleeping bags and 100 weather resistant coats, to help keep these kids warm during very cold nights. They were handed out at a Homeless Christmas Dinner on December 20th.
Good Chevrolet donated and participated in the first annual Foster Family Fun Night, organized by Kim Emmons, John L. Scott broker in Maple Valley. It was a holiday party with Santa, gifts, music, and food for foster kids living in the Maple Valley area.
Good Chevrolet donated to the Shop with a Cop program, the annual poker tournament fundraiser at Lake Wilderness Golf Course, benefiting children from the greater Maple Valley area. Each year, officers from local police and sheriff departments take the children shopping, which is a wonderful experience for all.
November 2012
Good Chevrolet launched a campaign to support Hurricane Sandy victims, where we pledged to donate $1 to Red Cross Hurricane Sandy Relief for each new "like" on our Facebook page.
The Renton Food Bank
December 2011
Good Chevrolet was pleased to present a check this month to The Renton Food Bank for $3,100 and to the local chapter of 'Shop with a Cop' for $2,000. As a part of Good Chevrolet’s work to help local families in need this holiday season, for every new car Good sold in November, they donated money to the local food bank. From December 1st through the 15th, Good Chevrolet donated $50 to Shop with a Cop. Owner Greg Sheridan said, “Partnering with The Renton Food Bank last year was one of the most rewarding experiences of our holiday season. Continuing the tradition this year and adding a partnership with Shop with a Cop has been even more rewarding.“ In addition to donating money, Good Chevrolet is also currently accepting non-perishable food donations for the Renton Food Bank until the end of the year.
